Gunnell Oval Recreation Complex Playground
Neglia Engineering Associates (NEA) created plans for redevelopment after Gunnell Oval Park received damage from Hurricane Sandy and had portions of the park closed. The Town of Kearny, NJ is currently redeveloping the site into a premiere recreation complex with the goal to host athletic tournaments. Below are the project details that Neglia Engineering Associates had drafted for the park.
➢ Playground has an athletic field theme with custom soccer ball and baseball net climbers, a custom arch, and decorative pavement in the shape of a baseball
➢ Playground at Gunnell Oval Park will provide a variety of play opportunities with net climbers, music instruments, a variety of handicap accessible features, as well as two custom themed playground structures
